My Saturday Afternoon Mr. Myagi Feeling…
Hey internet land, I normally don’t blog on Saturday’s, but I had the feeling today. At 1pm today I watched a video broadcast with 2 of the most dynamic internet/network marketers on planet earth. What was truly so surreal about the moment was thinking were they came from and where they are today—- wowsers. This couple is near and dear to my heart and today I want to dedicate this blog post to Toby Black and Layla Staats.
So Who The Hell Is Toby Black & Layla Staats??
Toby and Layla are 2 extremely hot commodoties in internet/network marketing today. Toby is from Scotland and Layla is from Canada. They met years ago while playing music together in a band. From day 1 of Layla meeting Toby, she knew she was in love and they have been together ever since. Their passion for music had them playing in numerous bars in Canada for ends meat just to get by. They even slept in the basement of the bar where they were playing because there money was so short. A little less than 2 years ago Toby and Layla moved to Tampa, Florida to assist Toby’s parents with their financial obligations. Upon getting to America, they actually thought they were gonna get regular jobs like everyone else… wrong answer!!
What The Hell Is He Putting All Those Circles Up For?
They ended up going to one of those pyramid thingy meetings, you know? 
Toby and Layla knew nothing about the industry, but they saw alot of money and have alot of determination. Their 1st company was a health and wellness company where they actually did ok for 1st timers. They knew nothing, and were doing only what they were told and were getting results. And then it happened… THE FRIGGIN INTERNET!! Toby and Layla got addicted to internet marketing and understanding how it works. They joined the top attraction marketing system on the internet, My Lead System Pro, and went to work. Within a matter of months they were receiving over 20-40 plus leads per day and signing up reps consistently in their business.
And Then, We Met…
I met Toby and Layla for the 1st time at a Monavie meeting in St.Petersburg, Florida. Even though I had seen them on the internet and watched some of their videos I felt as if I knew them a lifetime. We hit it off immediately and started exchanging ideas and cutting videos. (I mean, we were selling juice, not too many people showed up for the meeting;) After spending this time with Toby and Layla, I decided to give them a gift. About a month prior to our meeting, I had just finished “The 10k Per Month Attraction Marketing Blueprint” 8 disc cd series and decided to give them a copy. Well, I must say—- I think I was happier than they were receiving it. You see, Toby and Layla followed the blueprint to a “T”, got some great results, and started telling EVERYONE they knew about that cd series. From that point on, I knew we were going to be good friends and business partners for a long time.
My Need For An Assistant…
Over the spring of 2010, I was in need of a new assistant. The key was that I needed someone who understood internet marketing, network marketing, and was also extremely trustworthy. Well, after recking my brain over and over– I had a ahha moment: Why not have Toby and Layla work side by side with you? Now this was a thought that I had to act on because they were perfect candidates. That night, we went out to dinner to discuss the arrangements, and they were elated. So for about 8 months, Toby and Layla worked side by side with me assisting me in ALL of my daily tasks and learning alot at the same time. Task that wouldn’t of gotten complete if it wasn’t for the both of them. They learned quite a bit being with me everyday, but I learned just as much from them as well.
Which Leads Me To My Myagi Moment…
You see today, I look in amazement as I watch what Toby and Layla are doing. Here’s a small list of their accomplishments in the last 18 months… remember, they had 0 experience!!
1. #1 recruiters in their Primary Network Marketing company
2. L4 Leaders in My Lead System Pro
3. Creators of the “Famous on Facebook” product
4. Coach and Mentor to thousands
5. Created their own company and brand “Rockstar Marketing”
6. Winners of numerous contest from My Lead System Pro, My Video Talk, Mike Dillard, and numerous other affilates
7. 1st couple to be engaged on a MLM cruise!!
The list is a little long, but I think you get the point. I smile harder and harder as I type their accomplishments as the feeling is overwhelming. Now, Im not going to sit here and take the credit for Toby and Layla’s success. On the same token, Toby and Layla were smart enough to seek out a mentor who had results that they wanted and duplicated it, period– space- space. They never made excuses, never said they couldn’t figure that out, found a way to attend the company functions, never said never and just did it!! Me personally, I don’t think Toby and Layla represent a company, I think they represent “TRUTH.” The truth that if you want something bad enough, regardless of experience, sex, religion, background, or any other excuse you want to fill in the blank with, you can have it.
